Festival Volunteers

Join our team and help maintain the spirit of the Maldon Folk Festival tradition.

Our Committee is always keen to hear from people who can offer time to assist in the smooth running of our festival over the weekend.

Our Volunteers In Action...

A 'ticket-for-work' exchange programme is offered which normally involves an allocation of 6-8 hours of festival duties to our participating volunteers.

These duties usually include:

Assisting in the festival ticket office.
Checking wristbands at venue entrance points.
Concert MC/Stage Manager.
Checking wristbands on the Festival Shuttle Bus.

What we are looking for

You need to be reliable, punctual and have good people skills. Previous volunteer experience at other festivals would be a big advantage.

Maldon Folk Festival Committee Vacancies

The Maldon Folk Festival Committee is seeking expressions of interest for people to fill the official positions of
1) General Administrator
2) Advertising Coordinator and
3) Volunteers Coordinator.

Other general roles to be filled are
4) Program Sales
5) Assistant Civil Works and
6) Sponsorship.
